Arduino

As the amount of food waste at home increases, citizens need to try to address it as well. I tried to solve this problem by watching the state of the refrigerator where food is kept.

Design

1. Analyze and define your requirements
Research shows that much of the waste food thrown away from home is food left in the refrigerator. Therefore, it is necessary to inform the user that the food is left unattended in the refrigerator.

2. Conceptual design
If the user keeps and leaves the food unattended, a warning sign is given in three stages and the lock is also actuated. If the reaction of the sensor is checked and the user confirms that the food was left unattended, it will return to its initial state.

3. Implementing detailed design
Each frame was designed to make a fabricated refrigerator. The fabricated apartments were 3D printed for extraction.

4. prototyping

What I learned through this project

I have covered embedded systems or microprocessor applications but felt closer to controlling the hardware by using LED, motor, and acceleration sensors to design the circuit and explore the entire Arduino system.

I felt that designing an idea from a design point of view was different from the way I designed it from an engineering point of view.
