This applications were created to direct voice directions and distances of nearby buildings based on the current location of people who are blind to recognize the surrounding space.
Because it is intended for people who are blind, it is essential to have good accessibility. To achieve this, refer to "Guidelines for Mobile Application Content Access 2.0" and "Apple Accessibility Programming Guide for IOS" I also used the Core Location framework to program users based on locations.
The Firebase service enables a user to store registered locations, reference points, groups, and remote space learning lists on a server when they want to back them up.
The Realm database enables blind people to store the desired location and reference point via the STT (Speach to Text) function.
The directions and distance of surrounding buildings are guided by the voice based on the current location of the blind.
- User reference azimuth calculation module : angle of the user's smartphone relative to the surrounding buildings.
- User reference distance calculation module : Calculation of the distances of nearby buildings based on the upper and lower levels of the user's current position.
- Location and reference point registration module : If none of the buildings acquired from the Google Maps Getting API are available, or if the location (reference point) you want to learn is registered directly with the user's voice recognition database.
Information stored in the current location reference building that was guided by voice in walking mode can then be recalled and guided by voice.
- Location and reference point management module : Module that changes and deletes the registered position and reference point with voice recognition.
- Group management module : A module that binds reference points and enables group management.
