Pierre Penguin Escapes The Antarctic

I tried to make the game as similar as possible to the game, Pierre Penguin Escapes the Antarctic, released by Stephen Haney on October 21, 2015. The game is a kind of Flappy Bird game that has gravity on it and falls to the ground if it doesn't touch the screen, and rises if it touches. During the game, the user can avoid the impending obstacles, obtain coins, and play the game by touching the screen properly.

Play

After the app is first launched, a ' start ' button is provided to start the game. If you collide more than three times during a game with the floor and various obstacles, the game ends. At this time, buttons are provided to return to the main screen or restart immediately.

Life

Apply the " HUD " to display the three hearts in the upper left corner of the screen. This is the player's life. If you collide more than three times during a game with the floor and various obstacles, the game ends.

Coin

There are coins and various obstacles in the game map. It was designed by Scene Editor using the texture stored within a project. If you obtain the coin, the points of the player will increase. Player scores are also shown in the upper left hand corner of the screen, such as the player's life.

Power-Up star

Among the various obstacles coin and ' power-up star ' appears. If the player gets these, The size of the player and the speed at which it moves forward will increase during a certain time. Also, the player becomes invincible and will not lose his life when he crashes into obstacles.

What I learned through this project

It is the second game application after Tetris. The focus of the project was on the application of physical systems, such as gravity and acceleration, to a variety of objects appearing on game screens.
