There are several departments in a company and several employees in each department. Human Resource Management (HR) applications were created to manage these departments and employee.

Application

Custom, by applying segment controller to the table view, the app's capacity was reduced using slicing techniques to apply App Thinning.

Database

Among the ways that IOS stores data are to store them in bundle plist­ file, and to store them in db with SQLite. Plist is understood as saving in file format, SQLite is understood as storing in db format. However, you need to write code that is cumbersome to use SQLite. To solve this, the wrapper library called FMDB is being distributed by Github. FMDB provides SQLite easy to use with IOS Objective-C. Use these FMDB to manage the department and employee data.

Department management

New departments can be registered and deleted.

Employee management

New employee can be registered and deleted.

Employment status management

If the department is registered and the employees are involved, the working status of employees (during working, taking a leave of absence, resignation) can be managed.

What I learned through this project

We learned the feel for embedded data base in mobile environments by managing data using SQLite3 as the embedded database.

We used a technique called slicking to apply the app sining to reduce the capacity of mobile applications. It is simpler than I thought, but it is a powerful function, so I decided to utilize it actively in managing resources.
